I built this piece with the topic of immigration in mind because we latinx immigrants are often belittled, discriminated against, and disrespected for doing something as human as migrating. We came to your country hoping to find stability, security, and to generally better our quality of life- something that may no longer be attainable in our homelands but instead we are greeted with hostility and distrust.
I wish people didn’t forget that we were all immigrants at some point.
I loved how this project turned out and everything I learned through it.
