Last Wednesday I spent the class hours rebuilding my two pawns and testing different ways of dying clay. I was hoping to get a marble effect on one of the pawns and, though you can see the different colors when you look closely, it is not quite the effect I wanted however I am still very happy with it.
In today's class I was focused on making all of the 64 tiles, just like on a professional chess board, I ended up making 96 so that I can choose the best ones out of them.
For next class I want to have picked the material I will be using as the wall and have a piece of concrete board where the tiles will be placed.
